Love animals, but can't adopt? Volunteer!
Come join our energetic volunteer team!
Friends For Life has numerous volunteer opportunities and we need your help!
Fill out our volunteer form to sign up!
Are you a morning person? Retired? Stay at home parent? Have a job that leaves a few mornings up to you?
Consider volunteering for one of our morning shifts. Many of our volunteers say these are the best 'cat lover' shifts. They are quiet and you'll get plenty of time to spend with all the cats as the shifts are all about hands-on care! Start your day with a little cat retreat!
Love dogs?
We have lots of dogs in our adoption program. We need volunteers on the weekends that can walk the dogs and socialize with them. If you have an extra hour or two on Saturday or Sunday please come down and play with the dogs!
Good with people? Can you spot a good home for an animal?
Consider becoming one of our adoption counselors. There are few feelings to compare to placing an animal that has been through so much in their loving forever home.
The success of our program wouldn't be possible without you. We thank you for spending your valuable volunteer time with us. Hope to see you soon!

Thank you everyone who made the Friends For Life Pictures
with Santa at the Petsmart a great success! We had lots of
fun, took beautiful (and sometimes really funny) pictures
and raised money for the FFL animals!
We thank our Santas :
Jennifer Ring, Lora Drumm, Shawna Gunn, Carolyn Gardiner, Tamica Lightfoot and Eric Golightly--you were all wonderful! You feared no body fluid and no dog/cat/ferret combo shot!
We also thank all of our terrific doting pet parents who came by to immortalize their babies in celluloid (Polaroid, actually) for the holidays! We especially thank the animals for patiently wearing antlers, jingle bells, santa hats, booties, holiday sweaters and festive scarves--then letting the evidence be captured on film!
Everyone have a safe and happy holiday season--no matter what and why you celebrate. At the end of the day, we're all in this together.
