Come join our energetic volunteer team! Friends For Life has numerous volunteer opportunities and we need your help!

Visit us at the Friends For Life No Kill Shelter at 246 W. 19th Street in Houston to learn more about volunteering and to fill out a volunteer application.

Are you a morning person? Retired? Stay at home parent? Have a job that leaves a few mornings up to you?

Consider volunteering for one of our morning shifts. Many of our volunteers say these are the best 'cat lover' shifts. They are quiet and you'll get plenty of time to spend with all the cats as the shifts are all about hands-on care! Start your day with a little cat retreat!

Love dogs?

We have lots of dogs in our adoption program. We need volunteers on the weekends that can walk the dogs and socialize with them. If you have an extra hour or two on Saturday or Sunday please come down and play with the dogs!

Good with people?
Can you spot a good home for an animal?

Consider becoming one of our adoption counselors. There are few feelings to compare to placing an animal that has been through so much in their loving forever home.
