Morris Foundation chooses Friends For Life 9Lives® Morris Million Cat Rescue Campaign™ Adoption Bus The famous Morris® the Cat, a shelter cat himself, is on tour to 37 cities across the county to rescue 1 MILLION CATS. Thursday, March 8th, Friends For Life had the great honor of being picked as the featured shelter for the Houston leg of the Morris the Cat Foundation Million Cat Adoption tour. As this state of the art adoption center rolls across the country, they choose the premier no kill shelter in the area to be the featured guest. If cats had a rock band, this decked out palace on wheels would be their tour bus ! We thank the foundation for allowing us to be involved! A great time was had by all ! We thank our dedicated staff and volunteers who made the day happen with their hard work. We met new friends and our kitties got some wonderful attention (and potential new homes!) We even got to have our picture made with Morris the Cat. (He looks great for a guy originally rescued in 1968 !) He and his trainer could not have been more wonderful and could certainly see Morris' 'star quality' up close! Walter believes photographs are always appropriate (as long as he's included). Georgette is never one to pass up a cuddle, even on a tour bus!               See? More Walter...
