Project WARM Starts on November 25, 2011!
As the temperatures drop and we add another blanket to our beds or put on a warmer jacket, we often think of the animals who are outside with no shelter from the elements. One of the ways we can help keep feral cats warm, dry and safe is by providing shelter (WARM feral cat houses).
This is the second year that Friends For Life is making WARM houses and providing them to the public. The houses are made out of rubbermaid tubs and are lined with a layer of foam and hay for insulation. There are two small entrances cut in each house to provide an escape route if another animal is already in the shelter.
